Jackson Says...

If you know my Jackson, you know that he isn't a big talker yet. I know it is all in there and will come out at lightning speed some day, but right now, he is a little behind. Well, lately we have gotten some great things from him. I know they sound remedial for a 3 1/2 year old, but it is a big deal for Jackson!

"Wow! The sky is very blue!"

"Hurry up cars! We are going to Little School!"

"Jackson made Miss Shannan very happy!" (to Miss Shannan after answering a question in Circle Time)

"We went to chapel with Father Owl (Fr. Al)."

"Mohommed wears purple today."

"Not me!" (in response to the question 'Who wants a bath?')

"Mommy wants a red velvet cupcake."

Every new sentence he says to me makes me so proud. I just see life getting so much easier for him as he starts to communicate what is on his mind, what he needs, and what he wants. It is hard to imagine that someday I will be asking him to be quiet!!

Ignore those people who tell you to be careful what you wish for!! (Yourself included!)

I will never tire of hearing my little guys talk -I am just thankful that they can and that they want to!!

I am so glad Jackson is making such big strides!! Won't it be tons of fun to find all that he is thinking in that smart little head of his!!

Yeah, Jackson! Now you need to get him to tell Jason, "Momma wants a massage/spa day/mani,pedi!" He is growing up so fast!

There is no stopping him now, soon you and I will both be longing for just a few minutes of silence!
