Crabs!

We had a great social with our cell group over the weekend at David and Lori's home. Their house is beautiful, and it sits on a deep water creek. It was a beautiful afternoon, and we spent the afternoon on the dock and on their huge back porch. We learned how to crab, as Lori is an expert and caught a ton!! The kids all had a blast (there were 7 of them there!) and were greatly entertained by David's duck impersonation (David, Jackson is still talking about it!).

After crabbing, David cooked up an amazing Lowcountry Boil, with corn, potatoes, sausage, shrimp and crab... it was so yummy, and there was enough to feed an army!

It was a great afternoon, and it definitely wore my little ones out... Jackson fell asleep sitting up at 5:30, and he didn't wake up until 4:30 the next morning!! (Poor guy was starving at 4:30am!) Thank you, David and Lori, for being such gracious hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
