I was reading Busymom's blog earlier today, and I read this quote:
"Includes all activities, meals and a continuous flow of Mad Housewife wine and chocolate".
I immediately thought, "Wait, Busymom's been reading Nancy's, Caroline's, Aileen's or my blog!!". It sounds exactly like our Moms' Therapy Weekend in July, all the way down to the chocolate and Mad Housewife wine!! I was trying to remember who wrote that great quote when I read the rest of her blog entry... she references a place called Camp Bombshell, a getaway for women.
I checked out the site, wondering what on earth they could offer that we didn't have on our weekend, and I can't say that I would rather be there than at Wildhill! These weekends are such an incredible source of rest, support, and renourishment as a mom. Obviously, there are many other moms who feel the same way. I think we should be running these getaway weekends... I think we could make many other mommies happy and support ourselves staying home, as well!
Now we just need a good name for our "camp"...

I saw Camp Bombshell on the Today Show the other day and thought we should sign up :)
Here is an idea, a mothers mafia. You put a "hit" out on your friend who you know needs a break and we send in the hitmen to kidnap her for her Sisters Serenity Weekend.
